1. Who We Are
Nado TV is a media playback application that lets you open streams and playlists from links and files you supply.
It does not sell channel subscriptions as a service provider; you are responsible for the legality of sources you use.
For questions about this policy or privacy rights:
privacy@nadotv.org,
legal@nadotv.org, or
help@nadotv.org.
2. Summary
- Playback links and related preferences may be stored on your device to operate the app.
- The app uses Firebase (including anonymous sign-in, optional push notifications, optional in-app support messages, and analytics-related SDK components) and Google AdMob for advertising.
- Advertising and measurement partners may process identifiers, approximate location (for example derived from IP), and product interaction data as described in their policies.
- We do not sell your personal information. We do not use in-app customer support messages for advertising tracking.
3. Data We Collect or Process
3.1 Data you provide
- URLs and playlist inputs you enter to play or list content, and related actions in the app.
- Customer support / feedback content when you choose to send a message through in-app flows that store a report for handling (for example complaint or support text submitted by you).
3.2 Data collected automatically
- Anonymous account identifier (User ID): the app may sign you in anonymously with Firebase Authentication to enable secure backend features. This is not a traditional username-and-password account you create inside the app.
- Device and advertising identifiers processed by Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and related Google services (for example IDFA on iOS when permitted after App Tracking Transparency, and other device or installation identifiers).
- Push notification tokens and related technical data when you allow notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging).
- Product interaction and diagnostics-related signals such as app launches, feature usage patterns, ad impressions and interactions, and reliability telemetry, including data processed through Firebase Analytics and ad SDKs, as configured in your build.
- Approximate location may be processed by advertising and analytics partners (typically coarse / IP-based, not precise GPS from Nado TV for this purpose).
- Network and technical data needed to fetch playlists or streams from servers you point the app to, and to deliver ads and cloud services.
We do not require you to create a full user profile with email or phone inside Nado TV for normal playback.
We do not intentionally collect payment card numbers, health data, or your device contact list through Nado TV.
4. How We Use Data (Purposes)
- App functionality: operate playback and lists, persist preferences on device, authenticate anonymous sessions to backend services, deliver push notifications when enabled, and handle support messages you submit.
- Analytics: understand stability, audiences, and how features are used (including through Firebase Analytics and similar tools).
- Third-party advertising: show and measure ads through Google AdMob and its partners.
- Security and abuse prevention: help protect services and users where applicable, consistent with provider capabilities.
Customer support text you submit is used to respond to or process your request, not for advertising “tracking” as described for the App Store label for that data category in our product design.
5. Advertising, Tracking, and App Tracking Transparency (iOS)
On supported versions of iOS, you may see an App Tracking Transparency prompt related to permission for cross-app tracking where applicable.
Whether personalized ads are available can depend on your choices, region, and Google’s ad settings.
Advertising partners may use data (including identifiers, approximate location, and product interaction) for ad delivery and measurement.
Those practices are also described in Google’s documentation and may correspond to “tracking” in the sense used by Apple for certain label questions when personalized advertising or measurement applies.
6. Third-Party Services
Nado TV relies on providers that process data under their own terms and notices, including:
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore for certain user-submitted messages, Cloud Messaging, Analytics, and related infrastructure):
Firebase Privacy & Security
- Google Analytics (often linked with Firebase):
Google Privacy Policy
- Google AdMob:
AdMob & Google Ads policies
- Streaming and playlist hosts you choose by URL (their servers see requests from your device).
7. Local Storage on Your Device
Certain settings and saved inputs (for example a stored link or UI preferences) may be kept locally on your device
so the app can resume your workflow. This local storage is separate from optional cloud features above.
8. Legal Bases (EEA / UK users)
If applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on contractual necessity and legitimate interests
to run the app, secure it, improve it, and communicate with you about support issues, and—where required—consent
for optional tracking or marketing-related processing governed by platform prompts or in-product settings.
9. Sharing and Transfers
We do not sell your personal information. We share data with service providers (such as Google) strictly as needed to operate
the features integrated in the app. Providers may process data globally according to their policies and certification programs.
10. Retention
Locally stored app data remains until you clear app storage or uninstall. Cloud-side retention (for example messages stored
in Firebase, or logs retained by Google) follows provider retention and our operational needs for handling requests.
11. Your Choices and Rights
- Use iOS or Android settings to manage notifications, tracking (where available), and app data.
- Review Google’s ad and privacy controls relevant to your device and Google account.
- Stop using the app or uninstall it to cease local processing on the device.
- Contact us for privacy requests (access, correction, deletion where applicable):
privacy@nadotv.org.
- Where offered, you may use our Delete Data page:
nadotv.org/delete-data.html.
12. Children’s Privacy
Nado TV is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect
personal information from children for marketing purposes. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us
and we will take appropriate steps.
13. Security
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data and rely on reputable providers for infrastructure security.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when features, partners, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy on this page
with a new effective date. Material changes may also be reflected in app store disclosures where required.

This policy supports transparency and regulatory alignment. App store approval, labeling accuracy, and regional law remain your
responsibility to verify for each release. When answering Apple App Store Connect privacy questions, disclosures should match
the data types actually collected in that version (for example identifiers, approximate location, product interaction, advertising data,
customer support content, and user identifiers used with Firebase and AdMob).
